OF2 Sneak Peak"DIMENTIOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
The jester in question flinched violently at the echoing shriek rebounding through the corridors of Castle Bleck. Stifling a growl of irritation, and instead settling for silently rolling his eyes up to the ceiling, he sarcastically called back, "Yes, Nastasia? Whatever can I do for you?"
"Where the hell is Mimi?!" The secretary's sharp voice shot back. "I can't find her anywhere!"
Dimentio made a face to the empty hallway before him. " and this is somehow my problem?!"
"You're her keeper, aren't you?!" Nastasia cruelly reminded him. Of course, by this time, it would have been far more advantageous to simply teleport upstairs and speak face-to-face with Dimentio, but the secretary seemed to have become rather fond of shrieking at him. The jester was still unsure why.
Recalling the terms of his redemption, Dimentio growled and sent a silent curse to the Queen of the Underwhere before snapping back, "I still haven't a clue where the little d
Birds of a FeatherI do know why the caged bird sings
A bit of joy to life she brings
Enclosed in cage of dreary gloom
Somehow she smiles in face of doom
When fiendish hands have cut her wings
She puffs her chest and starts to sing
O woeful song from bleeding heart!
From pained and tortured lips you part!
Dear singing bird, I envy you
How brave you are to sing your tune
When all this world has hurt you so
You sing of joy they cannot know
As they snatch you out of free airs
And try to claim what is not theirs
O broken wings that long to fly!
Ripped apart and then left to die!
I hear your words of tuneless song
It seems I, too, have sung it long
In prison I am forced to stay
And vainly wish the day away
My freedom I did once hold dear
Is since long gone, I dare to fear
O echoes of a mournful song!
Mockingthe torture to prolong!
Within this prison do I rage
My likeness to your wretched cage
Our keepers hold freedom in view
To which they force to bid adieu
How dare they let us see the light
And then re
OF: Chapter 22Dimentio scooped up more water in his gloved handsamazed that still they were not even dampenedand promptly splashed the waters over his mask. He shook most of the water off, then leaned over the edge of the fountain to peer at his reflection again.
Luckily, Jaydes seemed to be right. The scratches had vanished completely, and most cracks healed over. All that now remained were the delicate cracks around his eye and a rather large chip out of the black half of his mask. Dimentio frowned, reaching up to lightly finger the chip.
"Sumthin' wrong?" Dimentio blinked at the water, somewhat stunned, then slowly lifted his gaze upward and just to his right. He had not been mistakenMr. L stood there, hands deep in his pockets, watching him.
Dimentio offered the Green Thunder a shaky smile, quickly turning back to the water. "Um possibly there may be a piece missing from my maskits not healing over properly "
The jester didn't have to turn around to know
A Foolish, Bothersome SpiderA lonely speck upon the wall
I hardly notice it at all
But once a closer look I take
I gasp, and then with fear I shake
O spider, there you sit just now
How you got in I know not how
In through a crack you must have crept
While in my bed I soundly slept
Up in that corner do you dwell
For how long now I cannot tell
You think yours is the victory
As out my room I quickly flee
You think you've won, but do I care?
I'll just pretend that you're not there
But on my desk a web you make--
You think this room is yours to take?
Now we shall see who's room this be
You won't best me so easily
A swat, a crash, a cry--and then--
This room is surely mine again
But, Fate, please don't let it be so
Is that again my vanquished foe?
In the corner you sit again
Laughing as a new web you spin
Surely this nightmare cannot be
How could a spider outwit me?
Again I send you out the door
Again I find you back for more
How long this battle will we fight?
How can we ever make this right?
I just want you out of my
Tough OC Exam MemeThis was one of the entrance exams/interviews for the Academy, the highest centre of learning in the world of Ark. Regardless of preparation, background, race or other cultural differences, it was agreed that the closely guarded entrance tests of the institution were considered 'difficult' by all attempting them.
Now we know why.
-These questions are directed towards an OC (original character) of your choosing, and HAVE to be answered by him/her/it ONLY with no outside or divine help from their creators.
-The OCs should be answering as they normally would.
-Take into account that this is considered to be a serious exam of which details are only revealed on the spot.
-No skipping questions.
-This doesn't necessarily have to relate to the Academy at alljust imagine that your OC understands that he/she/it stands the chance to win something really important by acing this exam/interview.
-Also, as this exam is
