tJfaJ: Chapter 2Looking around at my new surroundings, I found that Dimentio had brought me to the front gates of an enormous castle. The whole thing seemed like a giant shadow, composed completely of some dark, black substance. The castle was floating in the midst of a dark purple sky, sparkling with shifting shadows and something like lightning.

I looked up at Dimentio with a questioning expression. He simply smiled, turned away from me, and floated towards the towering gates at the end of the long path we stood on.

After standing there in a daze for a few moments, I snapped back to the present and scurried after him, my stilt-like legs on the hard groun

This is one of the antagonists that appears in Legends of the Lair. I don't think I've mentioned it often, but for Ace to be entered into the story, he struck a deal with a mysterious figure to bear a certain pain so he could travel to the dimension Here. This is her.

"The Skeleton Lady"--as she is only ever known--is a figure not many people are even are exist. She's a mystical being, those few who know of her commonly associating her with VooDoo. She is known to seek out souls that require her help, and offer them whatever they need. The price she requires for her assistance is a twist of fate, usually causing extreme pain to the one who owes her the debt.

I did this piece with a stick of compressed charcoal, blending stubs, some erasers, and white charcoal on this funny gray paper (i don't recall the name of it). I used a lot of techniques I studied at Rising Star to pull her together composition-wise. I really like her.

Now, just picture this picture hiding in this little corner of the hallway, her eye peeking through the banister every time you walk down the stairs--because that's where she was sitting while I was working on her.

OHMIGOD THIS LOOKS LIKE IT TOOK FOREVERRR TO MAKE!! What I mean by that is its really detailed and it looks like a LOT of effort was put into this!! Good no, great no, awesome no, PERFECT JOB, THATS IT!!!!
